I originally opened my website on ~09-05-2025 using a templated PHP backend then about 2 months after transitioned to a dynamic backend. On 03-10-2025 my site suffered a [hack](https://tumult.tgua.dev/cite.php?id=55)(Someone managed to get into one of my servers [and rm -rf / the root](https://www.reddit.com/r/AskProgrammers/comments/1nxgkv9/someone_got_into_one_of_my_servers_running_nginx/)) - now while I had many ways to go about this issue I was conflicted. I could simply restore my entire prod from a backup stored on dev, however I there's an issue with that; there's a vulnerability somewhere in my code. For approx. 5 s after the initial breach the site was in a read-only state with all shell and file write access removed from prod. Shortly after I finally made a plan. At +6 hours from the incident [the site](https://tgua.dev) was brought fully back online, barring /admin/* which has been completed disabled. Following this I began to rewrite my site in GoLang, a faster, more efficient, statically typed language much different from the previous PHP framework technically. This conversion is still in progress. However at this point prod. has been moved mostly onto the new go backbone.
