The Social Liberal Party is a large center left, pro-progress, pro-democracy, and pro-fraternity party led by SomWanOnTheInternet and vice-president Dizzyinternal. This party accepts an array of leftist and centrist ideologies and is slightly libertarian over authoritarian. The Social Liberals are allied with DifferentCar and the DIP (other center-left party with similar ideologies). The Social Liberals have a discord server, and an invite link can be accessed by DMing a party member. There are two current council members in this party: DueJob and SomWanOnTheInternet. The Social Liberals support community events like art days, game nights, and posting memes. You must have discord to join this party unless you DM the president. The Social Liberals are peaceful, globalist, libertarian, and progressive. As of December 13th, 2025, they have 15 official members and 1 honorary one.

"If you're sick of the annoying socialists and insufferable conservatives, come find a nice haven in the Social Liberal Party! Everyone plays a part---from leading the party, designing the flag, keeping up morale, proposing bills, and more." -DizzyInternal, vice-president

History
The Social Liberal Party was announced on November 29th, 2025, by a post by u/SomWanOnTheInternet, under the name Social Liberal Party of r/TeenGovernment. It's first founding members were SomWan, Dizzyinternal, and DueJob. They then rebranded to simply Social Liberal Party, after u/MinecraftGuy7401 claimed: "SLPRTG sounds like someone drinking a milkshake". After a brief schism with DueJob, they reunited and united with several other parties in the Declaration of War against the RDP. Today, the SLP is one of the sub's largest parties.
