**Ramble story collection second edition** \- By Joshua Thayer **DRAFT**

Quick explainer: These are some of the funniest, finished, unfinished, polished, unpolished, Ramble stories I’ve written. These Ramble books, or in this case more like stories, are just what flows out of my mind, no planning, no guidelines, no anything. These stories are written spontaneously with no planned length, they could be 5 words or 100\. Overall they take you on random, often comedic storylines.

Book 011:
So- I was just minding my own business, carefully looking through relics at an antique shop. I pick up a golden sphere with intricate shapes and a half green, half red gemstone in the center, but when I pick it up the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen happens, It glows in a bright blinding flash, and even worse It shatters into pieces, the metal shards from the orbs embedding themselves in the walls, but somehow I feel no pain, I look down and miraculously none impaled themselves in me. But then, As if the day's events couldn’t get any weirder- my skin is softly glowing. I stare at myself in awe, unsure of what to do.

Book 012:

Ramble book 010:
**Chapter 1**
So… I was just walking down the street when I saw her, or more accurately**:** the situm necklace; a necklace handed out centuries ago to the inheritors of the situm bloodline, a race of… things with powers. They may act human and even look human, but if they get too aggravated it’s likely they’ll kill hundreds since most can’t control their powers. Back to the present, I saw the necklace on a young girl, maybe 19, she just wore it like it didn’t mean she was a danger to society. I just stare for a moment making sure I didn’t just imagine what I saw, then I run quickly grab her arm, and pull her into an unpopulated alleyway, pin her to the wall and just stare at her for a moment in shock trying to process what happened *“where did you get that necklace\!?”* My voice extremely forceful, like I’m interrogating her. She just stares in shock for a moment *“M- My mother”* After I hear this I sigh annoyed and curse, Then: I knock her out, a clear, one hit knockout. I catch her before she hits the ground, Pick her up over my shoulder and carry her to my car, driving to the containment lab.

**Chapter 2**
She slowly comes to, and sees me hovering over her smiling, she sees my face and panics, trying to get away. But she’s held to a cold metal table with leather straps. She looks up in fear and shock, helpless. *“Relax”* I say my voice calm and focused, she’s now panicking. *“Where am I\!? Who are you\!?”* she yells, struggling against the bindings. *“Again, relax; everything will be explained later”*. She has a look of helplessness in her eyes *“Please just let me go”* She says, shaking against the clear metal surface, scared that something will happen to her. I repeat myself *“I said Relax”* My voice the same calm, focused voice, but slightly more forceful. My tone catches her off guard and her breath catches in her throat, *“W- Why?”* She ask, her voice stuttering. *“Because you’re a danger to society”* I say, studying her for her reaction. Her eyes are wide and she looks confused *“W- what?”. “You heard me. You Are A Danger to Society, You really don’t know do you?”* She looks confused and her eyes wander around the room for an escape method. I grab her chin and force her to look at me *“Don’t try to escape, you have to take this seriously, you’re a threat to everyone”.*

This concludes the second edition of the Ramble story collection. I plan to continue Writing ramble stories and making editions of this collection. Keep in mind all stories are released on *tgu-admin.wixsite.com/rst-anon* and can be accessed by the public.
