It was a cold day in early spring, the cool wind whisking through the air as gently as could be. Xyren shivvers slightly as the cool wind passes over his skin on the way to Montahue; where the royal knights are assembling for a ceremony. This ceremony--it turns out, was to hunt Demi-gods; which unluckily for him, he was.
But I didn’t know that yet, when I arrived in Montahue I received a warm welcome. The first lodging I stopped at accepted me as a guest for a–in hindsight, suspiciously cheap price.
The room I received wasn’t *that* bad, but it certainly wasn’t luxury; the room has a large oak door with intricate designs at the entrance, which I promptly unlock to reveal a single room, with a large king size bed in the center, with clean white sheets and a window overlooking the city partially blocked by the headrest.
The walls were painted dark gray–likely to not make the room feel claustrophobic while not being easily stained. Opposite from the bed, directly to the right of the oaken door was a small TV with its remote sitting on a small metal nightstand standing next to the right hand side of the bed.
