**HELLO READER\!**
This story will be in the genre of Dystopia. I'm not a Dystopian writer by any extent, but I’m trying to stretch my limbs and get *out* of my comfort zone. So I’m just here to warn you: I usually write fictional dark psychological horrors or books about superheroes. So some of that fast-paced action style *might* leak into this story.

**Chapter 1**
I was just sleeping–Or the equivalent of sleeping in this era

The machine beeps signaling it cleared all toxins and foreign materials from my brain, and that it automatically managed long term memory storage

I get up and walk out the door of my 1 square meter home with a 1.5 meter hig–short ceiling

Yay\! The one *good* development since the 21st century: we finally switched to the metric system

Oh, and we started using kelvin for temperature. Why? No idea

I walk out onto my–Balcony… A small platform that juts out and step out where there should be nothing–And walk on the air

The dry odorless air is the same as always, boring and dull

I look at the skyline full of supposedly good looking skypiercers I’m on the top floor of building number 2,899,731 in room 897,234

It’s not luxury–At least not what you would think luxury is, but it allows me to live; if you can call this reality living

I take in the same exact surroundings I do every day; bleak, boring, grey

When suddenly–I fall

Oh crap. Not good.

I look at my wrist and a holographic screen pops up a warning appears ‘Anti-gravity failure imminent’

Very helpful

I plummet–Nothing I can do about it

I fall, and fall, and fall

The lights in the windows turning into streaks as I reach terminal velocity

And suddenly–Everything goes black

Or at least I think it does…

I wake up again–Like nothing happened

Except I didn’t wake up in my bed

I woke up in a tube

**Crap** I thought **This is not good**
