**Chapter 1**
What did you expect me to do?

I was just walking down the street one Friday evening. When out of nowhere a strange masked figure grabs my arm and pulls me into an alley–I didn’t expect it so I did the one thing I could think of doing–I punched haymaker hard, and the figure crumples to the ground.

I’m in shock for a second then I bend down and look at the figure for a second–I reach down and peel the mask away revealing a woman in her 20’s unconscious with a bloody nose(That last part was my fault)

Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap. What did I just do, I just stay there crouching over her for several moments, in shock and figuring out what to do in this situation; Call the police? No, they’d just arrest me for knocking her out. What alternative is there? Just tie her up and wait for her to wake up so I can question her? No, someone could see that. What do I do\!?

Then I decide–Wait

I drag her limp body into a nearby abandoned building, her body was surprising light.

Then I wait–I don’t remember if it was minutes? Hours? No idea. Whatever the point is after a while she starts to wake up.

I lean over her and stare into her eyes *“What were you trying to do?”*

She looks around confused for a moment then locks eyes with me, her face suddenly turns to–Embarrassment? *“Crap, Did I really get knocked out on my first solo mission?”* She mutters to herself

I look at her Solo mission? What mission for who?

I look at her with an intense stare *“What mission? Who are you? What do you want?”*

She doesn’t say anything for a moment, but then she avoids it, just refuses to answer\! *“I–You don’t need to know that…”* She tries to sit up, but I hold her down

*“You’re not going anywhere until you tell me who you are, and what this ‘mission’ is.”* I say, my voice stern and cold

She doesn’t answer–just stares at me

*“Tell me who you are, and what your mission is\!”* I say, more angry than questioning now

She still doesn’t speak, struggling to get out of my grip

I tighten my hold *“You’re not going anywhere”*

She stops struggling and just stares, straight into my eyes, then straight up groans, groans in frustration *“This wasn’t supposed to happen…”*
