**OBLIVION**

I was just walking down the street on a peaceful Saturday evening, then **Boom\!** I’m dead.
Well… Not dead exactly- I was transported to a weird… void.
I’m John Feyer, a 15 year old with odd magical powers. I've been fighting small pests for years now, but I'm nowhere near strong enough to face a real demon.
I was walking to a friend's house one Saturday evening when everything went- weird. One moment I was walking down the street the next I wasn't.
*What is happening? It* was the only thought going through my mind, *I can still feel my arms, my legs, and my feet on the- wait… What am I standing on? I’m standing on something and I bend* down and try to touch the ground but my hand never touches anything. *This is weird.*
*What is happening? Where am i? I can’t see anything, It’s all just….. A void*
*What is this?* I think, clearly confused, worried, curious all at the same time, I look around, all I see is darkness… forever, I don’t see an end. Just- darkness…
I start to panic. What's *happening? Where am I?*
I shout into the void “*Hello. Is anyone there?”* My voice echoes like it’s an infinitely large room, I shake, starting to get scared “*Hello\!?”* I look around frantically, starting to panic.
When suddenly a figure appears out of the darkness moving towards me.
*Who are you? Where am i?* I call out towards the figure
But the figure doesn’t respond it just keeps moving, getting closer, and closer, and Closer
*Can you hear me?* I shout starting to feel helpless, like no one can hear me.
The figure keeps moving.
*What is this place\!? Where are we?* I shout, losing hope.
The figure moves out of the shadows, A striking demon emerged from the darkness—red hair cascading over vanta-black skin, two sharp horns gleaming under an unseen light.
*Welcome to Oblivion* She says, her voice much too deep for a girl her age.
I stare at her confused wondering how such a deep voice came from such a young girl, Then i notice the horns.
*Wh- What are you?* I say My voice shaky, I'm trying to keep my composure, but it’s clear that I'm scared.
*I am Sarah, Sarah Mongol, I’m with the Resistance and I have summoned you.* She says, her voice sending shivers down my spine.
*Why did you summon me? And what do you mean by summon?* I say, still scared but slightly curious.
*I summoned you because you have immeasurable power potential, and by summon I meant I teleported you from your world to here, Oblivion.* She says, In a stern clear voice, like there’s no need to ask further questions.
*Oblivion? What is this place? It just looks like… well like a void* I say, swallowing hard. My fear hasn’t faded, but there’s something else now. A flicker of curiosity—or maybe hope. If she’s right... does that mean I belong here?
(TBA Elaborate on John learning to trust Sarah)
*Spot on\! It is basically what you would call a void, except there is matter in this world too. We still need to eat and drink, and build houses, and we use Slven to do that.* She says in an overly enthusiastic tone
*This is another dimension?* I ask, raising my eyebrow in confusion
She laughs *I guess you could call it that, It’s a space constructed using Slven, at least that is the theory we have, no one knows for sure.* She says in a casual voice like alternate dimensions made of something called Slven is normal
*Slven?* The word feels strange on my tongue. *What... What even is that?*
*Watch.* She lifted a hand, and a faint shimmer pulsed around her fingers*. You may call it mana or chakra. Here, we call it Slven. It’s a power bestowed upon us—though we don’t know exactly when or how. But we do know this: you have an unimaginable amount of it\!* She says clearly excited
*A power? So Slven is what allows me to Levitate and throw stuff without touching it? I wasn’t going mad?* I said, slightly relieved
Sarah chuckles *No, you weren’t going mad, your powers must have been manifesting subconsciously, but now that you’re here I can teach you how to properly use them. I can’t imagine what you can do with that much power\!* She says, clearly excited
*And who are these overlords you're talking about?* I say, curious. I don’t know who, or what these overlords are, but just the name sends shivers down my back.
Her face turns dark. *The overlords are… well pure evil, they kill for fun, keep people as pets, and… well things too evil to talk about…* She says, Her words sending shivers down my spine, I stare at her for a moment, speechless.
*Someone can be that- that despicable?* I say my voice shaky, My stomach twisted. My skin felt cold. How could anyone be that cruel?
*Yes, and you’re the only one who could possibly stop them, their power is incomparable to that anyone else has* She says, the look on her face sending shivers down my spine, her eyes dark and gloomy like she’d seen something terrible
*I have to stop someone that powerful\!? How in the world am I supposed to do that?* I say, my voice stern. Serious, with hint of urgency and desperation
*I’ll train you* Sarah says, her voice turning back to normal the dark look on her face fading
*Train me? how?* I say, my voice curious and questioning *What type of training?*
*The type that will break you if you don’t give it your all* She says, her voice sending shivers down my spine
*What do you mean\!?* I say anxiously, slightly shaking scared of what this “training” might be
*I meant it will be extremely packed and hard* She says, in a very serious tone
*(TBA More content, hesitation and doubt)*
*Okay….. When does this training start exactly?* I say, wondering if i have time to figure out more about this world
     *Right now.* Sarah says
*Now?* I question wondering what i could possibly do without prior training
*Yes.* Now She is clearly annoyed with me questioning her. *Now, try to attack me, I need to see what your current power level is.*
*(TBA More content, more hesitation and doubt about this “training” and the resistance and Overall Sarah)*
*Okay……* I get in a fighting stance ready to attack. *So I just charge at you?*
*If that is your fighting style, yes* She says, Her shoulders slumping, she is clearly tired of me asking questions.
*Got it……* I lunge at her, swinging a right hook aimed straight at her face
Suddenly my fist stops less than an inch from her face, a blue aura seeming to form around it.
*What….* I say glancing at my fist then back at her
*(TBA More content, Training methods, conversation ETC.)*
My training continued like this for days? weeks? Months? I lost track of time, Every day Sarah Pushed my limits with training, After a while I was able to use small amounts of my power for basic tasks like Creating food, weapons, and clothes out of thin air using slven.
(first mission Xavier, Bareilly survives and comes crawling back to sarah before passing out)
*I think I’m ready…* I say, my voice stern and clear
Sarah sighs *You’re sure?* She says her voice gloomy and unsure
*Yes* I say, my voice unwavering, reassuring
(advance progression)
I arrive at Xavier's mansion, And walk up to the front gate, and use Gerta to blast the door into pieces, Several Demon guards rush out and point spears at me “*Halt\!”* they yell, I swipe my hand to the right and they go flying, I enter the mansion stepping around their limp bodies, when suddenly a large demon the size of a SUV appears in front of me, it has a grotesque face and an ugly deminor. It steps out from the shadows and roars.
(TBA Missions Defeating the overlords, unlocking new powers, training, growing to trust Sarah, etc.)
*Come here…* Grapt says weakly, his voice desperate and pleading
*What…?* I say slowly walking towards him, but i know after my last attack he’s much too weak to counterattack
*Come closer,* he says, clearly desperate
I bend over closer to him, he moves slightly and whispers something in my ear, my eyes widen. *No… No… NO\! That can’t be true\!*
*It is* He says weakly, his voice barely audible. *Tell her I… Still love her* he says weakly his eyes rolling up in his head. He’s dead…
After killing the last overlord Grapt i return back to the Resistance camp, everyone throughout the camp is cheering that All 9 of the overlords are dead, I walk through the camp gloomily, and go to Sarah’s tent, I walk in to see her crying.
*Is it true…?* I say my voice gloomy and sad, my shoulders slumped and my eyes looking at the ground, Sarah doesn’t respond, and just looks at the ground in shame.
